Let's Hijrah from Barbaric so civilized

Tuesday, December 7, 2010, to coincide with 1 Muharam 1432 H. That is, this is the first day of the Islamic new year, the calculation of Hijri calendar. This is a computation that refers to the turn of the month (Qomariyah). Simultaneously, the event moved the Prophet Muhammad and the Muslims as the initial calculation.
Therefore, the Muslim calendar is called Hijri year (from the word "hijra"). It also means, the events of hijrah of the Prophet and his companions, from Mecca to Medina (Yathrib), was the age of 1432 years.
However, though it was happening for so long, that event is still remembered, memorable and anchored in the hearts of the Muslims of the present and future, God willing. Besides, orders remain in force throughout the ages migrated with Amaliah form that is technically different.
Substitution of the Islamic new year means the anniversary of the pilgrimage as well as the momentum of extracting the meaning. A number of scholars, from time to time, keep trying to dig up these lessons and to up date them every time they met the Islamic new year is no exception 1 Muharam 1432 Hijiriah today.
Expert commentary from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta Prof. Quraish Shihab noted, there are four points surrounding the hijra. First, the word 'migration' is used to mengistilahkan displacement of a people or an individual of one thing that are bad for other things that are good.
Secondly, the Quran promises to provide leisure for anyone who emigrated. However, the spaciousness of Allah will be given only applies to people who seriously implement the move. Third, before the hijra of the Prophet SAW, previous prophets had emigrated. For example, the Prophet Moses and his people migrated from Egypt to Palestine.
Fourth, the point is quite important in exile is a maximum effort. Momentum is a determination to emigrate. Therefore, migration should be interpreted as a genuine business in the run. God also will assist in the hijra undergo.
Zainun Prof. Kamal, a professor of Islamic Theology at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University interpret migrated as a journey of a condition that is not civilized to something civilized. According to him, the trend of a stronger meaning of hijrah, actually meaning rather than on intellectual and symbolic meaning.
Therefore, migration is the movement of something that is not civilized (public incivility) to the civilized (civility). Hijrah is to build a civilization based on morality. Because the struggle of a prophet, a moral struggle. "If mankind wants to build anything and not based on moral, can lead to destruction," he said.
Especially, said Zainun is destruction for humanity itself. Therefore, the Hijrah interpreted as a change from ignorance to knowledge from savage to civilized, and the lazy attitude of the spirit.
That is, the more civilized with the construction of worldliness, also closer to Allah SWT. The better the facilities granted by God, not to distance themselves from God. "The closer, we should be more grateful," he said.
Today, more and more facilities are given by God to mankind, but more and more people are even more distant from God. They just forget about truth and goodness.
